losers dont really go home empty - handed
haha! i'm finally back and yes! the title speaks for itself. i did join the city olympics yesterday. i bagged the silver medal for the kata competition (which nearly came to a tie with my teammate Sam, who won the gold medal). but sadly, i lost during the kumite (sparring). i got hit on the nose so bad that it made me give a foul punch roundly on my opponent's face, yeah i intended to box the hell out of her because it hurt my ego so much that it was the first time i got hit on the face. i lost because of the foul i got. losers dont go empty - handed, because i still have that silver medal, haha. i have to admit, my nose still hurts until now, i hoper hers too. bwahaha! pictures of yesterday?

there's no point scrutinizing
kaka-takot naman ng face ko dito (kaka-takyoot!)... anyway, this photo was taken by my brother last year, during the 2007 Cebu City Olympics. I won gold in the Girls 15-16 Kata Age Category. oh kitams, sosyal ng amiga nyo... haha fighter na fighter ang dating ((: if ever one of you is a senior karateka, you could probably guess the name of this kata (swerte ang makakahula...) i'm still practicing every weekend but i'm not quite sure if i'll play again this year, on the mission of maintaining my title as the kata champion in our category, pang dagdag lang ng collection ng medals ko. well, if i do make my final decision, i'd let you know.

blots of peppery and savory thoughts
finally, after quite some time, i'd be able to post a rather "decent" item here on my blog. i actually had a hard time thinking of something that i would jot down here in my blog; who would even want to read or browse through a blog that doesnt actually have something that would catch their attention or even let them stay for a while and scroll down, right? and i also think my mind's rather ready for sharing this time around. 1st. my favorite CESAFI collegiate football team, UC, lost its place in the semi-final round to UV. yeah, its rather odd for me to be supporting my own school, USC. but that doesnt matter anyway, they made it to the semi's, but i'm not sure if they're gonna be the champions this year. 2nd. my friend, Rodney (UC), is a candidate recipient for the Golden Boot Award (the player who makes the most goals in the whole course of the tournament). so far, he's made 12 goals and i'm keeping my fingers crossed, hoping so much that he'll get the award. 3rd. i got my hair dyed black, once and for all. i thought of ditching the dark pink highlights long before because i actually thought it sucks as time went by. ps: i'm loving it. 4th. its confirmed. i cant have a cotillion for my 18th birthday next year. why? because my dad will be coming home on summer next year for his yearly vacation. that means he cant come home again by october (company incentives sometimes suck big time). but it doesnt matter though. my mommy cheered me up by making a plan B. she said we'll have a catered dinner plus a videoke, they're a hit for big occasions. then instead of having the usual 18 roses, candles and treasures... we'll merge them into "my 18 special people". haha. its pretty odd but i'm really looking forward to that. 5th. i'm loving shontelle's song, t-shirt. i just couldnt get over it because i could totally relate to the lyrics. 6th. check this photo i got from my dad's photoanswers account.  Did anyone say beer?

OPM mode
weee! at dahil OPM (Original Pilipino/Pinoy Music) mode ako ngayon, tagalog din ang post ko ngayon. sorry nalang sa mga di nakaka-intindi. at sa mga pure tagalog people, sorry nalang pag may nakita kayong wrong grammar, bisaya ako eh (may panahon din na magpopost ako ng bisaya, tas dun, wala talagang makaka-intindi hehe). nagda-download kasi ako ngayon ng mga OPM songs, di ko nga alam kung bakit, pero isa lang ang kahahantungan ng mga kantang 'to: sa cellphone ko. Inip na kasi ako sa mga kantang "shode (kung ako man ang aatasang mag label sa mga yun)" eh. Well, shode rin naman yung mga dina-download ko pero gusto ko naman. Aber, sino ba naman ang di magkaka-gusto sa "Himig ng Pag-Ibig" ni Yeng Constantino, yun yung theme song ng Dyosa. At in case mga Kapuso kayo, baka hindi nyo pa nalalaman na may ganitong teleserye pala sa tres. Hindi ko naman gusto yung teleseryeng Dyosa, pero napipilitan akong manood kasi yun yung pinapanood ng mommy ko, tas ginagamit ng kapatid ko ang PC sa mga oras na pinapalabas yun. Kaya ayun, nakikinood nalang din ako (sorry, hindi ako naga-gwapuhan kay Sam). Pero pagkatapos naman yun ay pinapanood ko naman yung "I Luv Betty La Fea" -- at hindi ako nakapag-miss kahit isang episode simula nung pilot episode nila. Shocks! Ganda talaga ng comedy-drama nilang revision ng Spanish "Betty la mas Fea". Take note, ang ganda pa rin ni Bea kahit "pinangit" siya para sa role niya. In case di nyo napanood, feel ko talaga na na-iinlove na si Sir Armando (John Lloyd Cruz) kay Betty. Ayeee, kilig ever! Balik tayo sa mga songs na na-download ko. So far, ang download ko pa lang ay songs from Silent Sanctuary, Parokya ni Edgar at yung kanta ni Yeng Constantino. Suggest naman kayo ng mga magandang songs na ipupuno ko sa Playlist ko para bongga! Tas may pahabol pa pala ako. Yung flyover sa Ban-Tal Road (Banilad-Talamban) ay "finally" binuksan na sa publiko nung October 30, and I heard na pumunta pala si Pangulong Gloria sa blessing ng flyover. Weee! Tapos na rin ang napakabagal na traffic patungong school. Hehe, ganda rin ng feeling na maging isa sa mga unang nakadaan sa flyover na yun, pwera lang sa feeling na parang umaalon pa yung daan, medyo malambot pa daw kasi yung semento. Di pa naman sana yun binuksan sa publiko dahil ang target date pa nila ay sa November 26. Daming questions nga eh. After sa opening, sabi nila mga private vehicles tsaka taxi lang muna ang makakadaan dun. Then later, nalaman ko nalang na ang PUJ's at pinagbabawalan nang dumaan sa ilalim ng flyover dahil dadakpin sila ng mga pesteng CITOM na nakaabang. Yung mga trucks, hindi pa rin pwede dumaan sa flyover. Anyway, tapos na siya at pang-limang beses ko nang dumaan dun yesterday. Download ulit ako. dinqui's birthday box
Yep, you sure have read it right. "Dinqui's Birthday Box" -- I'm Dinqui, alright. hehe. And yeah, I just received my Birthday Box from my mom yesterday (very late right?)... Well, she decided to keep the box until she has decided that she has everything that she wanted to send me for my birthday. Look, she bought lots of stuff, most of them are Hello Kitty collectibles; i so love them. Its actually her 1st pay day in her new work in Mandaluyong when she got all these stuff. Thanks Ma. ((:

I usually spell my name as Rochel; omitting the last 2 letters. Sometimes, I do it on purpose. Maybe I just want to mess around with people a bit, getting them confused of the correct spelling. Anyway, my friends call me Rochelle, or Chel for short. I also go by names like Dinqui, or Ding: but only my relatives call me by that.
Most people judge me as a bitter-sweet type of person; I can get very mean and I'm easily provoked. Yet I still have the sweeter side which only those are close to me can usually experience. Call me a dreamer, but yes, I want to achieve a lot of things in life. My "original" dream was to become an Architect, maybe an Interior Designer perhaps.
But nah, I have to leave that dream behind, its a long story (maybe writing it down would override my blog). So I decided, maybe I want to become a Computer Engineer. So here I am, taking up that course. Maybe proceed to ECE after that. Then probably work for a world-renowned company outside the Philippines. Microsoft, perhaps? In short, I just wanna
